Baptism of Fire

We have returned and only just recovered from what can only be described as a Baptism of Fire – Country Living Christmas Fair.  I think we chose the most logistically difficult Fair in the Universe for our first.  But I have to say that I loved nearly every minute of it.  Setting up our stand took far longer than we anticipated, but we got there in the end.We were really lucky to have lovely neighbours.  To our left was Amanda Mercer, who was awarded stand of the show, which was very well deserved.  Take a look at her website she has some really gorgeous things.

Opposite were Chase and Wonder AKA David Aspinall and Faye Pearce.  Their designs were stunning, absolutely loved their Hot Air Balloons.  Please excuse blurred image – take a look at their website, its all very in focus.

It was a great success and we met some amazing people.  It had to be the most exhausting 5 days ever, but can’t wait for the next!!!!

Country Living Christmas Fair

We are very excited to be exhibiting for the first time at the Country Living Christmas Fair.  We will be launching some new designs at the fair.  One of which is our Mr & Mrs Buttons and Beads.

We are now on the count down, getting stock made, designing the layout of the stand, booking vans and so the list goes on.  The biggest challenge is sorting out the homefront, thank heavens for wonderful Grandparents!

So please come and visit us in the New Exhibitors Auditorium of the County Living Christmas Fair from the 9th – 13th November at the Business Design Centre in Islington.

Marathon Man

Not that this has anything to do with Design, Interiors or anything related but I have to say what a very proud wife I am. Today my husband ran the Kielder Marathon. He did amazingly well, the weather was just awful, driving rain and fairly windy but he managed it under 5 hours – 4 hours 54 mins he shouts across the room. Very proud, well done Ali xxx.

Let the Sun shine!

Look at these amazing kitchens.  The dining area in the first kitchen has the most incredible view.  Love the use of accessories especially the cushions yellows, greys and creams.

Bay window kitchen nook contemporary kitchen

I would love to have this much sunlight flooding into my kitchen!

What a place to have your morning coffee!

Absolutely love this gorgeous banquette at Courteney Cox’s Malibu home.  Oh to be sitting there with a glass of wine!  The galley kitchen has fantastic hot dog windows.  The whole house is so open and frames those fantastic views of the ocean.  Take at look at Elle Decor.

Now, where should I put my seating area with lava fire pit (up here in Northumberland)?
